Surprise! I decided to paint this one in grey scale with my digital tools, I really wanted to keep practicing painting. :D 
Don't know if you would have preferred pencil, but either way I think it turned out alright.

You've not only nailed the facial expression, you've nailed her whole posture, if I do say so myself.

The other comments already pointed out her face, so I'll just focus on everything else: her feet, already scrunching up in nervous anticipation, but not defiantly or overly anxious, as if not wanting to give away, just how scared she is... half-way shielding one another...

But the biggest point, to me, are her arms. From her thoughts, I assume, there's nobody nearby... yet, instead of letting her arms hang to save strength, she's actively pulling herself up a bit, angling them, as if tensed up about what is yet to come, trying to be ready, even, if nobody's around yet!

Sublety, you never seize to amaze, am I right? ^^
